Yes, because entrepreneurship is hard, hard work and your passion has to carry you through the first few months when you are the CEO of everything. If you can find a team of contributors who share your passion, then you're off to a great start.

Put your concept to the test

There are quick ways to test your use of social media to assess whether there is a market for your idea. Facebook and Instagram are easy ways to get started. Put a business page on Facebook and Instagram and before you spend a ton of money on advertising, see what response you get from these platforms.

The high school kids have been very creative in starting great businesses while taking classes from home. Maybe this sock and t-shirt idea of two students in Canada will stimulate some ideas.

You can also place your items in the buy and sell marketplaces on Facebook for additional exposure, without paying for advertising.

Over the past year, support for local businesses has been more important than ever. Since the 70% of companies are small and medium-sized businesses, they are the backbone of any economy. So for this reason, by launching a business during Covid-19, you are doing so at a time when people are hypersensitive to buying from small businesses. Take advantage of this by telling your launch story.
